This weight loss checklist will tell you exactly what to do to take action on your diet and workouts right away, so you can have an amazing start to your healthy journey.

Just follow the steps, and check items off from your list as you go, and you will be doing all the right things to have an amazing first week of your weight loss journey, and set yourself up for long-term weight loss success.

Your Weight Loss Checklist

  • Take a before picture, you won’t regret it!
  • Note your starting weight
  • Set a goal, how many pounds do you want to lose? What do you want to look like? What do you want to DO?
  • Connect with your number one reason for wanting to lose weight… your deepest source of motivation
  • Add 3 whole, healthy foods to your grocery list
  • Pick a go-to protein food
  • Go healthy grocery shopping
  • Cook your first healthy meal, and eat!
  • Drink 1/2 gallon of water every day
  • Exercise at least 3 times this week, for at least 10 minutes
  • Find an activity that you actually enjoy
  • Eat at least one healthy meal every day, in your first week

Important Rules and Concepts for Success

  1. Eat whole food, such as whole grains, fruit, nuts, and vegetables
  2. Vegetables are the absolute best weight loss foods
  3. Don’t cut fats and carbs, choose the right ones
  4. Make changes in steps
  5. Make healthy additions, don’t struggle with restriction
  6. Eat healthy to replace cravings
  7. Exercise AND diet for the best results
  8. Use resistance workouts to burn fat, and build muscle
  9. If walking hurts, do sitting down exercises
  10. When times get hard, don’t give up, even if you slow down
  11. When you do give up, change your mind tomorrow
  12. Imagine the future you, believe in yourself!
